Art Classes

About Our Classes

At Art&Co we offer art classes for primary school aged children and high school aged children, as well as a range of half and full day workshops. We also offer private art tuition for adults.

Weekly Classes

At present we aren’t running weekly classes, however we are available for one off group or private lessons, birthday parties and special events. Get in touch to find out more!

All of our classes are taught by professional, practicing artists and illustrators with a wealth of industry experience and knowledge. We have over 15 years of art teaching experience between us, and as trained professional artists we are always evolving in our practice, so are continually introducing the children to lots of new cutting edge techniques and art-making skills, whilst ensuring the classes are grounded in the traditional practices of fine arts.

We teach children of all levels and skills, introducing them to a myriad of materials such as pencil sketching, charcoal, pastels, acrylic paints, watercolour paints and oil paints – just to name a few.

Our mission is to provide children with a safe, fun and encouraging environment where they can learn tangible art-making skills, and their creativity is allowed to flourish.

At Art&Co we believe each child is individual and so we teach individually within our classes – keeping class size small to allow for this. We believe this personal and responsive approach to art education allows the development and growth in skill and creativity for each child.

We also like to ignite our students curiosity by introducing lots of fun, playful new art-making techniques that will improve their skills while giving them a sense of self-confidence when they master that technique.
